This week Class 8 have been
reading their class book George’s Marvellous medicine. It is about a marvellous
medicine that George makes for his Grandma, which turns her very thin and very
tall. On our topic table we have had a go at making our own Class 8 Marvellous
Medicine and writing a recipe for it. We have also been acting out the story
using puppets and spoons. How much fun we have had!
Today we have been writing our
own noun-verb poems all about George’s Marvellous Medicine. Here is one that we
wrote all together.
George grabbing
Medicine bubbling
Toothpaste squirting
Spoon stirring
Grandma growing
Mum moaning
Chicken clucking

We can’t wait to find out what
