Welcome to Class 9's blog!

We've been doing lots of fun things over the last 5 weeks. We would like to tell you about some of the spectacular things we have been up to...

We have loved learning about George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl and we wrote some fabulous Noun-Verb poems about the book. We even made our own medicine in the mud kitchen and did a marvellous coke and mentos experiment... which exploded everywhere!

In class 9, we have been brilliant mathematicians. We have started practicing our Big Maths and we have been learning how to add in different ways using Base 10 and money. Have a look at our example below.

In art we have been learning about Pablo Picasso. We drew pictures of our own faces and we drew lines through them and coloured them in using our special techniques. They are: cross-hatching, pointillism, tone, scribbling, and blending. They were incredible! This is an example of Picasso's work.

Thank you for reading our blog, we hope you come back again soon.
